What this site
knows about you.
In short
- No cookies, so no cookie banner to click through
- No advertising pixels, no remarketing, no data sold or shared
- Analytics run on our own server, not a third party’s
- The only personal data we hold is an email address you typed in, and the note of you agreeing
Who we are
Loimi Systems OÜ, registry code 12944048, Tallinn, Estonia. We decide what happens to the small amount of data described here, which makes us the controller under the GDPR. Any question about it reaches a person at [email protected].
Analytics
We use Umami, running on our own server in Europe at analytics.artems.link. It records which page was opened, where the visit came from, and rough facts about the device: browser, operating system, screen size, and the country the connection resolves to. It sets no cookies and cannot follow you from one site to another. Nothing it stores identifies you, and because it is ours, the numbers never reach anybody else. We look at it to learn which pages are worth keeping. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing that, which is a fair trade at this level of detail.
The newsletter
Typing your address in stores nothing. We send one mail asking you to confirm, and until you press the button in it the address exists nowhere but inside that link. Confirm, and we keep it along with the record of what you agreed to: when you asked, when you confirmed, which form you used and which wording stood under the button. That record is how we can show the agreement was real, which is what the GDPR asks of whoever holds a list. We use the address to send the newsletter and nothing else, and we do not pass it on. The mail goes out through Resend, who deliver it on our behalf. You can leave from the link at the bottom of any issue. That stops the mail at once and deletes the address, along with the record of your agreeing. Nothing is kept behind, not even a note that you left. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw whenever you like.
Booking a call
The booking buttons open Artem’s calendar on Google, in a new tab. We deliberately did not embed it: nothing loads from Google while you are on this site, and no request reaches them unless you click. Once you are on that page you are Google’s guest, and what you type there is covered by Google’s privacy policy, not ours. What comes back to us is the booking itself.
Writing to us
Mail, a phone call or a message on LinkedIn all leave a record: the message and whatever you chose to put in it. We keep that for as long as the conversation is useful and delete it when it is not. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you, or the steps before a contract if you are asking us to quote for something.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like every host on the internet, their servers see the IP address your browser connects from; they need it to send the page back and to turn away attacks. We do not build anything on top of those logs. The newsletter form is answered by a few lines of our own code running on the same network, which keeps nothing of its own: it passes the address to Resend and forgets it.
Fonts and images
One script comes from elsewhere: the analytics counter described above, which is ours and runs on our own machine. Everything else the page needs comes from this domain. The typefaces are served from here rather than from Google Fonts, and there are no widgets, embeds or share buttons phoning anywhere. Open the network tab and check.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, ask us to stop using it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Write to [email protected] and we will answer within a month. If we handle it badly, you can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate, aki.ee.
Changes
If any of this stops being true we will change the page and move the date below. There is no version history to dig through, because there is not much here to change.
